Some projects begin with a spark of intuition and then grow like sprouts under the sun. EnoBee is one of them: an initiative that weaves together landscape care, respect for pollinators, and attention to those who choose wine with awareness.
We started with a simple question: what can we do together, as a winery, to regenerate the land that hosts us?
The answer came from nature itself: more flowers, more bees, more life.
? A PROJECT ROOTED IN THE EARTH
To celebrate World Bee Day, we chose to make our commitment visible by planting a mix of nectar-rich flowers on our estate and sharing them with our customers. This is not just a symbolic gesture—it’s a way to make the landscape more welcoming to bees and other pollinators, promote biodiversity, and at the same time enrich the environment where our wine is born.
Bees are a silent yet essential presence in the wine supply chain: without them, many of the plants that feed our ecosystem couldn’t reproduce. Honeybees, in particular, are even capable of "repairing" grape berries damaged by birds or insects.
Caring for them means caring for the quality, the future, and the beauty that we strive to protect every day.
THE ENERGY OF THE SUSTAINABILITY TEAM
EnoBee is not just an environmental project—it’s a human one too.
Our Sustainability Team passionately took care of sowing the flower mix, preparing seed packets, designing the packaging, writing the sowing instructions, and selecting sustainable materials. Every detail was thought out to offer an authentic experience aligned with our values.
Of course, not everything goes perfectly: in some areas, weeds took over and the flower mix didn’t establish as we had hoped. But nothing is wasted: a local farmer harvested the cut vegetation and will use it as forage for his animals. A small example of circular economy in action.
Meanwhile, we’re preparing a small gift for those attending our events, because we believe awareness should be cultivated from an early age.
